Tasers Less Powerful Than Originally Thought

The Inquirer has more today on Charles Kelley, the man who broke into City Hall and was later killed by police. It seems he was homeless, and, as Inquirer reporter Patrick Kerkstra says, “It is not hard to imagine a life spent outside, looking in.”

Erhm, okay. But it appears Kelley may have had super powers as well. From the article (emphasis mine):

Kelley had both, police said, when they confronted him as he waved the knife at Ninth and Market Streets, just a few blocks from City Hall. Police twice tried to stun him with a Taser gun, but it had no effect.

This dude no-sold a taser to the chest (or wherever)? Holy shit.
