76ers Somehow Beat Allen Iverson

Last night, Allen Iverson played the 76ers for the first time and… somehow managed to lose. To the 76ers. Really!

Iverson had 30 points and 9 assists (and 7 turnovers) last night, but it wasn’t enough as the 76ers built an 18-point lead and blew it, but then rallied in the second half for a 108-97. Iverson was even ejected with 1:44 remaining in the game when he picked up his second technical.

The 76ers improve to 9-22, which means even if they lose the rest of their games, they would only tie the 9-73 mark the franchise currently owns as the worst mark in NBA history. Hey, progress!

Ejected and surely dejected: Iverson falls short vs. 76ers [Inquirer]
