Breaking: You Suck, Billy King

Iverson traded.

For crap.

What a surprise.

Update: ESPN has more. It’s Iverson for Andre Miller, Joe Smith and two first-round picks in the next draft. Greg Oden and whoever’s in the 20s better be good. Smith’s contract is expiring. Let’s hope he never plays.

Update 2: Yeah, yeah, this particular deal isn’t so bad — three picks next year is nice — but it sucks because it came to this point that they traded Allen Iverson and somehow got Joe Smith in return. Hey, two former #1 picks being swapped.

    billy king does suck. worse gm ever. he has no idea what he’s doing and the agents know this.

    Yeah, Billy King sucks but this really isn’t a bad trade. Joe Smith was just brought in b/c the NBA’s salary cap was devised by first graders and is stupid, so they had to add him to make the salaries even. But Andre Miller is one of the best point guards in the NBA, and they now have three draft picks in a loaded draft. Who did you think you were getting, Steve Nash? Come on. In fact, I’m a little worried that this trade was too good, and might keep Billy “Ed Wade” King around even longer.
