Adwatch: Liberal Lois Revisited
Last week, Adwatch looked at the Republican ad that focused on Lois Murphy’s breasts. That ad delighted in calling her “Liberal Lois” and announcing that she is going to “raise your taxes,” as all good liberals do. After the jump, a look at a different “Liberal Lois” ad that continues to emphasize the taxes and the liberalism, but isn’t as concerned about her breasts.
What was this ad done in, Powerpoint? I do enjoy, however, the protest signs with “famous liberals” on them. Ooh, Ted Kennedy! Nancy Pelosi! The Dreaded Hillary! (Russ Feingold seems to be thrown in there as an afterthought.) I must, however, take umbrage with the ad’s claim that the “first thing” Lois Murphy would do if she was elected is raise taxes. Clearly she’d take her coat off, first. She also would apparently grow to 75 feet tall and continue to expand as she raises your taxes, as the ad shows. Also, check out the “seniors” who would pay higher taxes due to Liberal Lois:
Either (a) those seniors don’t need to worry about Liberal Lois raising their taxes because they’re royalty or (b) the Republican National Congressional Committee has no idea what an old person does. |

I don’t even remember who she’s running against, but I think I’d vote for whomever is going to tax those damn old kings and queens.
Fortunately, I haven’t gotten any robocalls from the National Republican Congressional Committee yet. Of course, I’m not be in the right district.
What she got against the Burger King?
Sure, Lois Murphy is so extreme that the Communist Party USA endorsed her candidacy in the Oct. 7, 2006 issue of People’s Weekly World.
