Yesterday, the citizens of Philadelphia were introduced to Muhammad Shaukat, the newsstand operator outside the Public Ledger building who, after being told to cover up his porn magazines, put up a sign that read, in part, “I gone a fuck his mother, sister, wife… who complain my newsstand. Come front of me.”
I gone a fuck his mother, sister, wife! Come front of me! (Looks like I have some new catchphrases.)
Last night, Fox 29 Fox 29 chatted with Muhammad over his porn mags and his sign threatening to rape someone.

Let’s just do a nice little charticle here.
- Muhammad Shaukat is, apparently, a Scots-Irish name. Seriously. He sounds like he’s from India, but, uh, he pretty much looks like he could be the guy in the mascot outfit for Notre Dame.
- At one point in the video, the camera pans over a bunch of newspapers on the bottom shelf with the porn mags laid on top of them. Is that where he displays the porn, or did Fox 29 just set that shot up for contrast? I’ve never seen a newsstand sell porn mags there.
- These newsstands are like little awesome compact houses. I always wonder how they manage to cram that much crap into a little space like that. (My favorite newsstands until I saw Muhammad O’Shaukat’s are the ones that sell grab bags of comic books from the mid-1990s.)
- Don’t complain about this blog post. If you do, I gone a fuck his mother, sister, wife.
- I love how the Fox 29 report focuses mainly on the porn and not that he put up a sign saying that he was going to rape anyone who got in his way. I know he didn’t threaten any particular person, but… yeah. Alas.
- Come front of me. (Yay! Managed to kill it already. Phew.)
