See that thing at right? Well, it’s a photo from Cryptomundo and it’s The Yardley Yeti.

Yes, that’s right, there have been bigfoot sightings. In Yardley. Earning that particular rat/anteater/yeti the name of “Yardley Yeti.” Rumors of such a beast have been swirling for quite a while now, yet Bucks County Courier Times columnist J.D. Mullane came up with the name in a column late last month. The name has stuck, and he’s been covered in YY sightings ever since.

People have speculated that the creature is a fox, dog, cougar, jackal, hyena, wolf and, of course, this, from Mullane’s most recent Yardley Yeti column:

“From what I can tell,” I said, “it could be a feral dog, a fox with mange or a mutant chipmunk.”

I’m putting my money on the mutant chipmunk.

If Mr. Maberry has seen this animal, why hasn’t he contacted the appropriate authorities so they may look into this matter? This animal, species unknown as of yet, may need care. However, it appears that some individuals lack responsibility because they wish only to see their name in print.

Hopefully, this animal won’t be wounded because of some careless individuals.

Actually, I have contacted the authorities -police and humane- regarding the animal, and have forwarded my pictures and a number of eyewitness accounts from the many folks who have contacted me since the news story aired.

It’s clearly a dog, kangaroo, and a girl mixed together. It has a dog like body but skinny, kangaroo like legs, and it has a girly cry and it has girly eyes. My friend has one in her backyardnad when it cries or screams it sounds like a girl schreetching.

We saw this creature roaming through our neighbors yard around midnight 11/3/07. We live across the street from Tyler State Park in Newtown Twp. It looked like a grey fox, yet had a longer tail and pointed snout similiar to a rat. It almost resembled a kangaroo. We angled our headlights to get a better view, and it crept away, keeping low to the ground and disappeared into our neighbors back yard.
