Three Sex Charges And You’re Kind Of Out
Sunday, Wharton professor Lawrence Scott Ward was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography. He had also been acquitted of a sex charge in 1996 and he also pled guilty in 1999 to attempting to pick up a federal agent posing as a 15-year-old boy. Yesterday, Penn responded with swift justice:
That’s right, sports fans! If you get charged with three sex crimes — and, well, if you have tenure — Penn will… uh… pay you to not teach. Sweet. Penn: Alleged sex offender won’t teach [Inquirer] |

In mostly unrelated Penn news, I saw a girl downtown the other day. She was school shopping with her mommy (had to be a freshman) and wearing a t-shirt with the Penn “P” on it. Written underneath: “NOT Penn State.” If it was an official Penn shirt, that’s weak as hell.
Sick dude… I would flip out if I found out one of my professors was into kiddie porn.. What about all the online child porn going on these days… pretty gross stuff.. Good thing there are measures in place to stop these preverts like Cybertipline..
