Give Me A BrakeThe Pennsylvania tourism website, VisitPA.com, is currently holding a contest to pick the state’s “official” bumper sticker. And, as Wookified recently noted, there’s one problem with a top contender:

I thought it was a pun. You break for pie like you break for coffee.
I suppose you could take it that way, but it is a bumper sticker, and usually those have the connotation of “Warning! I could stop at any time if I see a [yard sale/flea market/puppy/shoo fly pie]!”
What’s frightening is that it’s in second place with 18.2 percent of the vote….
My favorite bumper stick of late is “I Don’t Brake for Yankees Fans”
