This is NOT my kind of story The video report of the Florida puppy-throwing event (I think it’s in the 2008 Olympics) is fantastic. They show a bunch of puppies and say “Life hasn’t been easy for these puppies,” and then have the eyewitness who has an extremely detailed account of the puppy-throwing. Then they goto the suspect’s house — the man arrested for puppy-throwing — and a different man walks up, curses off the reporter (it’s bleeped) and argues with the reporter over his property line. Then she keeps asking, “What is your name?” and he replies “Umm… none of your business!” and drives off backwards down the street and almost hits a car. Oh, yeah, and the suspect is a pastor at a local church. FAN-tastic. If a bunch of puppies didn’t have to get thrown off a truck to make this story, it’d be win-win for everyone. One of the video links last night on CNN.com said “Watch: Puppies thrown from truck.” Naturally, there was no actual puppy-throwing in the video, just some eyewitness testimony (the man at left; HR says if I post any more photos of puppies this week, they’re going to sic a cat on me).

whoa, they needed to go to widescreen format to fit his head in the frame
