Welcome to Puppy Morning! And since I have so many stories that revolve around dogs — and puppies, of course — I’ve decided to dub Feb. 2, 2006, “Puppy Morning,” where all stories before noon will be nothing but doggies and puppies and all that good jazz. Not all of them are happy — I’m sure you’ve heard the one story already — but I’ll intersperse sad stories with photos of puppies to make things easier. Then, this afternoon, we have a ton of stuff to cover, from Abridged Daily News columnists to Donovan McNabb’s yapping on T.O. to Northeast Times letters to the Philadelphia straight male population’s apparent obsession with being done in the ass by a girl. What a day! But that will come later. For now, it’s all bark and woof and arf. Stories and photos will be coming all morning.
