And the cute parade continues Here is the deal: the lion cub, Koza, was delivered via c-section at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and as such had to be raised away from the other lions. (Don’t ask me why.) But, they wanted the lion to have a playmate, so they threw Cairo, a mastiff puppy who was rescued after Hurricane Katrina. Aww! Anyway, the two romp around and play and do all sorts of other cute stuff. Their friendship will end when the lion gets big enough to eat the doggy. A wistful ending, of course, but for now you can just read the story and go “Aww!” Editor’s Note: Yes, if this story was somehow asked as a question in the Metro “Today’s Debate” to a Northeast Times-reading Johnny Goodtimes, Philadelphia Will Do would probably explode. Via a wire service, NBC 10 has what could possibly be the cutest story ever:

well, they couldn’t leave the cub with his mom, who is recovering from surgery, and they couldn’t dump him in with other adult lions, who would literally eat him — thus “keeping him apart from other lions” is pretty much the default.
There is something you should see…
