Beanie Sigel: The Blog

In an effort to catch up to the Inquirer in a race to see which media outlet can have the most blogs, today Philadelphia Weekly has launched its second blog, the Beanie Blog.

PW staffer Steve Volk will be blogging Beanie’s trial right until he’s found not guilty at www.philadelphiaweekly.com/beanieblog, and we suggest you stop by for a look.

A sample:

“What is the hardship?” asked Shreeves-Johns.

The woman said something unintelligible in reply, which sounded like “no,” “gnocchi” or “meow” (it was hard to tell).

“Could you repeat that?” asked Shreeves-Johns, but the woman only shook her head in response, seemingly unable to understand our fine language at all.

“You’re excused,” Shreeves-Johns said, to which the woman replied in suddenly, miraculously perfect English, “Thank you!”

Oh, Philadelphians trying to get out of jury duty, you so crazy!
