Encyclopedia Denenbergia Yesterday’s questions included the following topics: trees, delicate skin, smoking (and its connection to arthritis) and the number of items carried in supermarkets. (The answer, according to Herb, is 32,000, though he says there is one “new tough competitor” that stocks only 2,800 — I assume this is Trader Joe’s.) Here are two questions from yesterday, back to back:

Frankly, I’ve been getting pretty darn excited when I turn to the back page of The Evening Bulletin, my former employer. Since I left, they’ve hired Herb Denenberg to do a daily column for them, titled “The Advocate,” which touches on (apparently) everything under the sun.
